Spring has sprung. Summer is almost here. Our busy winter is over and I can turn to things creative once more.
The biggest projects since Christmas have been getting the house cleaned out (like really cleaned out), buying and putting in place new furniture including bookshelves and a new entertainment center.
Now that we are coming to the end of that, I can turn to cleaning out and reorganizing my sewing space. I just got new shelves for that area too, but it’s a work in progress.
I have so many new doll clothes patterns I want to try, plus accessories for costumes. A really big goal I have is to learn how to make real ballet tutus. I just need the time to sit down and teach myself (along with some helpful videos too of course).
I’m so looking forward to getting back to my creative pursuits. Ever feel like you can’t sew when the house needs cleaned and re-organized? Well that’s been my life the last year or so. I always ask myself how did we collect so much stuff??
